Nichole Donje'

In a world where white equals divinity and black is doom, I wander through the grays full o sopirit and knowledge.

Each step reaching new places within my own phyci,

Sometimes falling further backward into the abyss

though alwas getting up and crawling, if i must,  toward freedom.

I don't know if i will ever reach the whiteness or the 'light" as so many call it,

But sometimes I wonder why I would want to.

The grays,

The process,

The learning,

This is where fullness is retained.

Always reaching for more...

falling backward, but each time moving forward more quickly than ever before.

Each step in the grays has taught me.

Eventually I will be surrounded by "light",

But the grays are where I live.

It is the grays that fill my heart with hope and the understanding of color...

And with freedom.

The world in which I long to learn from until I no longer have the choice.

Then...

Only then, will I embrace the 'light".
